Cirkel Coffee

In 1896, FDB was founded. Many new products were launched in this connection and one of these was “FDB coffee”. In 1938, this was renamed Cirkel Coffee, which can still be bought to this day. FDB was granted the permission to use the name “Cirkel Coffee” from Kooperativa Förbundet (the Swedish sister association), which had had great success with the Circle Coffee brand since 1932. Cirkel Coffee is one of Denmark’s oldest coffee brands and the logo, designed by Aage Sikker Hansen in 1955, has since become an icon.

Ib Antoni also drew two beautiful illustrations for FDB – namely “The Blue Coffee Pot” and The Red Coffee-pot.

As Antoni Legacy is constantly working on cleaning Ib Antoni’s beautiful original drawings, one can never know when a new illustration from Antoni’s hand will see the light of day. But when the illustration is ready for reproduction, it is added to the collection on this page, both under Products, Illustrations and the client for which the illustration is designed. If you have a special interest in, or further knowledge of the illustration or the customer, you are more than welcome to contact us.
