In 1968, Ib Antoni was commissioned to create the official poster for Tivoli’s 125th anniversary. Many artists before and after him have chosen to focus on the park’s rides and amusements. Ib Antoni, however, took an entirely different approach, clearly inspired by his own feelings for Tivoli. He chose to focus on the birds and the lamps, highlighting the magical atmosphere created by Tivoli’s lights – a perfect setting for people in love.
