This lovely illustration is a part of a series drawn in 1959 for the Swedish manufacturer of cars and trucks, Volvo.

Instead of bringing the animals down this hunter of big game has put down his gun and invited the lion and the giraffe to go for a drive in his brand new and very spacious Volvo Duet.

This car, that also had the model number PV445, was in production from 1953 until 1969.

This illustration was made in 1959 for Volvo.
